• All antibiotics should be completed in full unless instructed otherwise by a veterinarian.

• Tucoprim should not be used in animals that are allergic to:

• trimethoprim

• sulfonamides

• Do not use in horses with liver damage or blood conditions.

• Stop administering Tucoprim if a skin rash occurs.

• Use with caution if your horse is pregnant or nursing.

• All your horse access to fresh water while administering Tucoprim.

  Tucoprim Dosage Instructions:

  • Give 3.75 grams per 110 pounds body weight each day.

  • The course of treatment is typically 5 to 7 days.
