DOUXO Seborrhea Micro-Emulsion Spray

DOUXO Seborrhea is a formulation designed to cleanse greasy and/or dry, scaly skin of dogs and cats. It is soap-free and contains moisturizers and film-forming agents to help maintain normal production of sebum and skin cells. Soothing and moisturizing Ceva DOUXO Seborrhea Micro-Emulsion Spray can be combined with DOUXO Seborrhea Shampoo in a protocol that provides efficacy with the convenience of a few pumps that spray a fine mist rather than completely wetting the animal. This is a stark contrast to the standard shampoo-only seborrhea treatment of frequent and lengthy shampoos.

DOUXO Seborrhea is indicated for the management of kerato-seborrhea conditions

Directions for use:
Brush the hair coat against the natural fur line, then spray the product by holding the pump approximately 12 inches from the pet's body thus dispensing the spray over the targeted area. The product will disperse naturally. Do not over apply.
  • Dosage: 1 spray per 10 lbs of body weight. Dosage may be doubled for long-haired breeds. When dosing more than 1 spray, apply in multiple places - on both sides and on back.
  • Apply every 3 days for 2 to 3 weeks, or as recommended by your veterinarian. May be used as part of a management plan as recommended by your veterinarian.
Topical treatment of sporadic seborrheic conditions following initial treatment with DOUXO Seborrhea Shampoo
  • 1 application daily on localized lesions
  • 2 applications weekly for 3 to 4 weeks for generalized seborrhea
Odor control on dogs prone to seborrhea
  • 1 application weekly
82% odor reduction in dogs prone to seborrhea after only one application ( 3 sprays).
