Bird Sulfa

Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim Tablets 480mg

Thomas Labs Bird Sulfa (Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim, SMZ-TMP) is for antibiotic given for systemic and local non-specific bacterial infections in pet birds, exotic birds and pigeons. SMZ-TMP is recommended for E. coli, Streptococcus, Paratyphoid and Coccidiosis in birds.

Each Tablet Contains: 
  • Sulfamethoxazole :: 400 mg
  • Trimethoprim :: 80 mg
Directions:
Add one tablet (480 mg) to 8 ounces of bird's drinking water. Make a fresh antibiotic treated water solution daily. Continue treatment for a minimum of 7 days and not more than 10 days.

Not for human use. Bird Sulfa should not be given to birds intended for human consumption.
