Henry Schein PhytoVet CK Antiseptic Mousse is a antibacterial and antifungal mousse that also helps in restoring the skin barrier for optimal therapeutic effect. This pleasantly-scented antiseptic mousse is for use on dermatological conditions responsive to chlorhexidine and ketoconazole. PhytoVet CK Antiseptic Mousse contains Phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide with anti-inflammatory properties that helps restore the dermal lipid barrier to aid in the long term management of skin disorders in dogs and cats. Phytosphingosine-salicyoyl also helps fight irritations.
Directions for Use: Shake well before use.
Localized use: Brush the coat thoroughly. Apply on dry coat. Dispense one or two pumps in the hand and then apply to the animal. Massage into the hair coat in order to the product to reach the skin. Repeat as many times as necessary to cover the whole body. Avoid areas around the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Apply as often as necessary.
Generalized Use: Brush the coat thoroughly. Apply on dry coat. Dispense one or tow pumps in the hand and then apply on the animal. Massage into the hair coat in order for the product to reach the skin. Repeat as may times as necessary to cover the whole body. Avoid areas around the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, the animal may be brushed again to bring luster.
Dosage:
Dosage can be doubled for long-haired dogs. It is usually recommended to use PhytoVet CK Antiseptic Mousse following a bath on day one, then applying the mousse again on day 3 and day 6. Repeat for 2 to 3 weeks.
Ingredients: Chlorhexidine 2%, Ketoconazole 1%, Phytosphingosine 0.05%, Water,Propylene Glycol, Glycerine, Lactic Acid, Polysorbate 20, Methyisothiazolinone.
